As the soul behind Rugs & Riches, Suresh Rateria brings decades of artistic wisdom, an uncompromising eye for detail, and an unshakable devotion to the craft. His leadership is not only creative — it’s deeply personal. Every design is a reflection of his lifelong love for textiles, his heritage, and the artisans who bring each rug to life.
Suresh can be described as an impulsive & unconventional romantic, who made it his mission to transform his love of surrealist art, architecture, and photography into a contextual medium that he could really sink his feet into.
Very well-travelled, Suresh is a trekker, a biker and a mountaineer. He has walked many miles in different shoes and interacted with artists across the world. This diversity of spirit and learnings from his associations with multi-faceted artists are embodied in Rugs & Riches.
A qualified yoga teacher and practitioner and a task – driven Leo, this rug – ged man brings to our carpets a zen – like realm for creativity, and a roaring fire for the finesse of our finish.

With a client-focused mindset, he leads the company into global markets by ensuring a seamless and trustworthy experience — from first sketch to final delivery. His mission is to simplify, elevate, and deliver with care.
Siddharth has a passion for perfection — in both his work and his vision. A global traveler with a sharp sense of fashion, he has a keen eye for emerging trends and timeless style.
